Right here in Reading - my back yard, and EPJ's too! I just found out about this today, I already have plans for next weekend so I won't be able to go.
I have been to many events at the Barbecue Ranch, it is a great location for this show. A friend of mine is the owner. This is the first year for the show, they plan to hold it every year if it is successful.

"Deutsche Classic is the mid-Atlantic’s premier all German Automotive event, including vintage, classic and late model Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Porsche and Volkswagen as well as the unique “orphan” cars. A special show area will be dedicated to DKW, Durnier, Heinkel, Messerschmitt, NSU, Wartburg and other orphans.
The beautiful rolling hills and deep German heritage of Lancaster and Berks Counties of Pennsylvania, make this the perfect location to enjoy the 2005 Deutsche Classic. Your weekend experience begins with an indoor Toy, Tool & Literature Show, specific to the German Marques, on Friday evening July 8th at the Holiday Inn, located just off exit 286 of the PA Turnpike.

The festivities continue on Saturday July 9th at Shearer’s Barbecue Ranch with a free continental breakfast to all pre-registered participants. Be a part of the People’s Choice Car Show, featuring electronic voting. Search the swap meet area, including under roof and open vendor areas, for new and used parts and accessories. Shop for your next dream car at the car corral. Check out the new car and club displays. Saturday’s events also include two performances by Rich Pawling of History Alive theatrically depicting Pennsylvania German pre-auto transportation history. If you have never seen Rich perform, you’re in for a real treat. There will be a tire toss competition and a competition showcasing the ladies. Hear great historic racing stories, tech talk and attend a web site design seminar. Be sure to bring your laptop, as free wireless internet will be available. Music will be provided throughout the event. You will enjoy a barbecued chicken dinner prepared right at the show. All activities, entertainment and food are included in the general admission, so be sure to bring your family and friends."

Link is in the message above - www.deutscheclassic.com They have directions listed on the site.

From NYC, you would take I-78 West towards Allentown. Then take 222 South towards Reading. The Barbecue Grove is on the south side of Reading just off of 222. It's about 2 1/2 hours from NYC, more or less, depending on traffic.
