Lincoln topped J.D. Power and Associate's latest Customer Satisfaction Index, followed by Cadillac and Saturn. Toyota's luxury brand, Lexus, the perennial quality chart-topper, slipped into fourth.



While Big Three brands, as a whole, still have a long way to go, according to Power data, the best of the domestic brands have been nudging aside their long-time import rivals. In Power's recent Initial Quality Survey, three GM brands outscored Toyota. It's the sort of news Detroit has been desperate to get - and the Big Three are quick to promote each victory through efforts like General Motors' "Road to Redemption" campaign.

I love these surveys such a laugh.

I do believe these surveys are purposefully designed to be confusing so you can't figure out what brand is on top or on the bottom.
