What's up with Porsche Turbo lagging so far behind?? Who was driving it? I would've guessed that it should've been ahead of the NSX and close to Gallarado...

I think the problem with the bestmotoring guys is that they seem to always favour the Japanese cars. It's subtle but they will do things like launch a Skyline GT-R fractionally earlier than, say, a Porsche Turbo for a 400m timed sprint. And on track it's easy to "let" a particular car win. Having said that, i love their videos and there is no doubt that they can drive. I think a lot of them (if not all) are drivers from the Japanese GT championship.

Some things to note:
-The guy driving the NSX is the best drive out of all of them (if you watch other battles from these guys, you'll know this, and he preferes Japanese cars)
-The NSX's engine over-heated later on in the race
-The M3 CSL had no complaints in the braking department, but was very underpowered compared to the other cars
-The M3 CSL was only able to keep up because of its amazing handling, and the guy was over-driving the car at times
-The Ferrari's brakes over-heated (brake fade) and that screwed things up for it

It's definitely a great video, I LOVE the sound of the Lambos accelerating, and watching the gauges increase so fast. Lamborghini definitely deserves the "raging bull" reputation.

that's it, it's decided! when GT4 comes out on feb 1st, IF it comes out on feb 1st. i'm getting a ps2. and the steering wheel accessory..

as for the video itself [;)] nice video tom [thumb] that late braking to take the lead by nsx on the final lap was sweet. only to have the lambo come over the top. commenting was erm, lame, but ah well.

those guys are AWESOME drivers

great post tom
If you liked their driving, I should post up some of their other races. IMO, these guys do the best driving I've ever seen. They do perfect heel-and-toe downshifts and they always use the full potential of all the cars.

Once again Tom, nice find. Really the M3 didn't stand a chance with that group except maybe the Porsche. It did hold it's own and did better that expected, but it just lacked HP. If the M3 had more horses and a lot more torque it would perform way better. Not bad for 4/5 passenger car though.

It was the only car out there that could drive straight from the track and pick up your girl and two kids for dinner. The NSX-R is one sweet ride. I sure hope brahtw8 sees this. He will love it.....

Referring to M Speed's comment, I don't think that the M3 CSL has back seats? And your girl won't be too heavy to see that the car is lacking a stereo system and air conditioning. I bet any girl who rides in a M3 CSL, her first question would be, "What kind of BMW is this???" [hihi]

The REAL kind, biatch !!!!!!!!!!!

You get the jest of the comment. It isn't your usual 2 seat supercar. And there would be many girls who love to ride in it, however not my wife, she barely like to ride in my current M3. [:D]

I thought the CSL's brakes sucked? Especially when they dont fade after a ferrari's fades. Oh well. Can you imagine what that would sound like standing at that start line when they start racing? Ooooh man....

BTW I've found girls (the ones that count) don't always like very powerful cars. They are intimidated by them. As much as you could push my E30, when I'd have someone else in the car of the opposite sex, I'd always drive real calm and stuff... always seems to impress them that I don't drive like an ass....

....when they were in the car anyways [driving] [;)]
