Probably another advertising stunt. They don't really want to sell it, that just want to generate interest and traffic.

I would not pay over MSRP for that, or for most any car for that matter. I remember when the Z3's first came out people were waiting over a year and in some cases paying 3k over MSRP. It's not like it was a "super" car they were buying! I am always willing to wait...

I remember when the Ford Thunderbird came out. People would pay $20,000 over MSRP for it. It was insane.

If you want one, just wait a year or so. They were pretty much giving the Thunderbirds away after that initial rush.
