Where I live the NADA book value on the car is $50k to $56k, so he is in the middle of book value. According to the information I read the car retailed for $69k, maybe he paid too much in the first place? Either way for a car like that you have to wait for the right buyer and do not forget the M6 is taking a lot of the "6" action. Good luck with the sale.

The higher end cars always have the worst re-sale values in my experience. In the past, when we've sold or traded in quite expensive cars early on in their road lives, you always take the biggest hit. It's the BMW 3 and 5 Series that have great re-sale value, and traditionally the MBZ C & E Class that retain values the best. The 6 and 7 Series just don't hold their value (like the MBZ S Class).

Good Luck!!
