The BMW Team PTG M3s have won nine of the first eleven Rolex Sports Car Series races in 2004, competing over some 3700 miles and 1350 laps around the toughest race tracks in North America.
Heading to this weekend's final round, the Lexus Grand American 400 at California Speedway, the team has every intention of winning its tenth race of the year and is looking to secure each of the Rolex Series GT class championships.
With a 13-point lead in the Manufacturer Points, and based on the number of current GT class entries for the final race, BMW Team PTG only needs to take the green flag in California to clinch the teams first Rolex Series Manufacturer's Championship.
