Do you guys have any tips on cleaning the brake dust off the wheels? i got my car on 2/23 and washed it today 2/29 and the brake dust was so hard to get off. I used a brush and a rag and my fingers were hurting. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have rims where the spokes are close together a foam pad paint brush is easier than a rag to get in the hard to reach places. Mothers and Eagle One are good and so is P21S cleaner. If you do it frequently enough car soap works too. A coat of wax on the wheels is also a help especially on the inner part. I use a small Karcher home use pressure washer at times also. Try and see what works best with your rims. The solution down the road is to change out the brake pads to ones that don't dust nearly as much.

The best thing you can do for your wheels is to wax them! Yes, (MyHarley) [;)], you need to do this when they're either new or extremely well cleaned, normally this would mean taking the wheels off of the car to do this correctly. But believe me, I dust the brake dust off of my wheels like I dust the furniture. It's really that easy, IF you keep a good coat of a polymer wax on your wheels.
