Sounds like an obvious insurance fraud scam to me. Just not logical for a truck to get "stuck" on railroad tracks. I bet some one is in jail before this investigation is finished.
If someone maliciously destroyed those cars though.....oooh boy GIVEM' DA CHAIR

The truck was high-centered on the tracks. That means that the tracks were basically higher than the surrounding roadway - there was a ramp up to the tracks and a ramp down the other side. When the driver went over the tracks, the center of the trailer bottomed out on the high point of the tracks, getting stuck. I've seen it happen several times on a particular set of tracks in my hometown. It is totally driver error and negligence and a very unfortunate travesty - those were some nice and irreplaceable cars.
