Cd Player

what do yall think is the best cd player available for my car? ...i do not know anything about them...i dont want to spend a whole lot (about $200-250)
is there anythong out there worth a crap in that price range?

of course. not a whole lot of selection, but there are HU's worth buying. i'd recommend a low-end alpine, on the net $150-$250, right in your range. you might find a pioneer or a clarion in there too. nothing else is worth buying with that little money though. if you can install it, great. if not, bad idea. you'll end up paying an installer at a shop at least $50, plus installation harnesses.

ya me too. i dont really listen to music while drivin but i think a cd player would be nice. im thinkin. ive seen an alpine 1 disc in dash for like 175, is that good ? i know nothing about car stereo.

beleive it or not, brand is a very important deatil. many companies ie sony pyle pyramid boss etc use their big name to sell, because people trust it. BAD IDEA with car audio, they make cheap products that dont last. low end alpine decks are about as cheap as you can get with quality. the only other place to look would be pioneer for that price. yes, trust any alpine. even their low end is reliable and of the best quality you can get with that cash.
