CD Player wont work

Need Help!

I have original CD/stero system - everything is working(radio/tape) but CD light wont come on when the system is on. I looked at the magazine in the trunk, it won't stay/go in the cdplayer. I am not sure if it has anything to do with fuse or if my cdplayer is broken. This is for 740.

i've seen the unit skipping not detecting the magazine correctly... are u positive u aligned the magazine correctly before inserting it, and did u check that the cable is firmly connected to the unit?

mag does go in but wont stay in. it slides out rightaway without doing anyting. My CD light on the inside stereo panel is also not on.
