Body Colour Trim

Anyone have their black trim matched to the colour of their car? or if you've heard of it done, is it just painted? wonder if it would last if it was...

i have it my bumpers painted, not the trim though, but it may still apply.
dad bought a 92 in 96, now its mine. its not shiny any more, its been that way for a while, but it was when we bought it. im guessing 4-5 years minimum it will last. also dads new m3 has it, stock though so it will last long.

they don't have it as an option to buy from the dealer do they? I have a cousin who has a 330CI that has chrome trim and chrome door handles(body colour is silver). Looks sweet, it was on the car when he bought it.

i dont think so, its only the M. back inteh day of mine car they had black bumpers and M has pianted. now they all have paintd bumpers but not trim. but the trim is there to not damage paint in small fender benders, ie sum1 parks to close opens door into urs car.

check my picture. I have prem pkg and sports pkg. Although I bought my car used I believe you buy the colored body trim from dealer ..
