BMW's new design chief

BMW has a new design chief but Chris Bangle is still here. He got promoted to design director which oversees everyone designs.

we gotta give mr. bangle that the recent designs look quite good. the 1 series is great, the new 3 series is also very good, though the rear lights are more modest than great, and the 7 series facelift shows, that he learned his lesson. even the 5er earns loads of good reviews and comments.

i think he isn´t that bad anymore.

They need to get rid of the whole lot and rehire the Aston Martin guy. Yeah, van Hooy tamed down the 7 and kept the 3 simple...but it's still got those wierd whacky wrong lines in there...their okay, ho-hum...the new designs look Japanese of all things....and anything but classy or timeless.

...looks like Bangle is gonna be there awhile opposed to everyone's wishes, but the new cars are cool

You are so right. Isn't the Aston designer Ian Callum? Anyway, he's the one that knows how to design a car; not this Bangle fu*ker. I just honestly cannot understand where he comes from.
