I haven't driven my bimmer since Monday. After I got it back from the shop, my parents are like "absolutely no" when it comes to driving it....so I'm driving the old 95 camry that I used to drive. Now, I have always liked Toyota and all, but everytime I take a turn like I would in my car, the car can't handle it and the car looses oil pressure?!! I read in the manual and it said that this is normal, but I still find it strange.

I think my little 318Is has spoiled me for other cars....sigh...I miss driving my car.

So drive your cars a little harder for me. lol, j/k. I just miss driving my car. Oh and the camry is an automatic....it sure sucks going from a manual to a automatic; I wouldn't mind if it twas an SMG or at least a steptronic, but a automatic? I slam the gas and it quite literally takes 3-4 secs for the engine to engage with the tranny. BBBBBBOOOOOORRRRIIIIIINNNNNNNNGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!

HUH? I don't get it.

He's talking to me, too bad he's a little shit stain who never adds anything to threads, this thread for example. [boxface]

He's got an attitude - i'm sure his mommy or daddy bought him his car too. If my parents were buying me a car i'd expect something newer than an E30.

please come back in a month to tell us about it
Totally uncalled for, dude.

Sean, I'm really sorry to hear about your problem, sounds like your neighbors are getting real personal. But how would they get under the hood? I remember when some schmuck stole the headlights of my brother's RX300, there was some hood/side panel damage basically showing that they "forced" their way in with a crowbar or something. Holy shit my face was red all day when my bro came home with his headlights missing. [boxface]

i need to apologize for my previous statement. I was venting all the frustrations of a 16 hour day in the wrong direction. it was wrong of me and I am sorry.

epj3: I worked hard to get my car. and everything that i do to my car is payed by me, all maintnence, mods, etc. its working 11 and 12 hour days that allows me to do this and i am sorry you feel that i am a "little shit stain."

Oh no no, there is definitely forced entry. But it twas not through the hood. The mfers broken through the door and f*cked up my door lock. I can use it, but the master key doesn't work very well anymore; a mechanic told me that if I get a brand new key, and just take out the assembly and "finess" the metal it should work. They said the tumbler is fine, just some plate is bent.

I fail to mention one error on my part. See, I think my neighbor's son is doing all this because...one day I was driving down my street and he was with his thuggish buddies (I am not stereotyping they really are into that whole mentality) walking in the middle of the street , I slow down to a stop, he hears a car turns around, sees that it's me and stands there and points at me to reverse up the street. Now I used to live on a narrow city street and it's a bendy road and to reverse up a bend is difficult cause if someone it coming fast, they're going smack right into you. So I rev my engine once, giving him a warning that I am not reversing. He stands there, so I floor it and aim for him. I must have really hit it hard as hell cause my back wheels chirped. I was in a bad mood to begin with and he just took me over the edge. All the other kids moved and as he was moving I swerved right to were he was running and he got scared and tripped over himself. BEAR IN MIND I WOULD NOT HAVE RAN OVER HIM AND I WAS A "SAFE" DISTANCE FROM HIM, but my muffler was acting noisy that day and it just sounded even meaner. Meanwhile all his buddies are pointing at him and laughing...they thought it was hysterical. I believe all the damage to my car is his way of saying "thank you."

It is still completely unacceptable. Those "thugs" aren't traffic directors and you can't just block a street for no reason. You should just stay up late and see if they try to do something like that again....if you seem on your property messing with your car, just shoot them.

Can I ask about the logic in your parents not letting you drive your car? Are they afraid that your car could have been tampered with at any moment, or do they think that your driving causes this to happen or what?

Once again, I have left out the more irritating aspects of what's been happening. Thing is, some of the stuff has been happening when the car is parked out side of our old house, and other stuff (that is definitely linked) has been happening while my car is parked at school. So my parents just made me put the car in the garage of the new house, kind out of sight, out of mind. Their logic is, if the mfer comes to where I go to school to perform devious acts, obviously he isn't playing with a rational set of playing cards. And to be completely honest, I don't want to continue paying out money to fix what he keeps doing. I'm getting break damn broke cause I haven't worked cause of exams and the whole moving thing. Here's the irony (this really pissed my dad off), the car I've been driving is the car my dad usually drives...he loves puttering along in the camry (don't ask me why). This afternoon after one of my exams I get to my car, and low and behold a key mark done in the exact same way that it twas done on the camry...coincidence? maybe. And by no stretch of the imagination is the paint on the camry in good condition; that car has seen over 200k miles, never been garaged, curb parking marks, the finish is starting to go, at least 25 door dings (although in pics it's still beautiful). So someone who keys this car is not doing it to try and ruin the paint, lol.

Now I pissed off thinking about this......

Interesting, this same sort of event happened a block from my old house before we moved this year.. Kid down the street and his bud, thought they were little thugs.. Walking the center of the street, My wife is with me in the car, see's us, gives me a ugly look, keeps walking, I rev once, they slide a bit to the side, I go by, and hear him say 'I'll kill you bitch, better keep driving'.

I drove the 100 feet or so to my own driveway, watching him walk into his house (just down on the corner from our place!!), ran back up the steet to his house, where they had slid into very quickly and closed the door. Too bad for him, his Mom and stepdad happened to get home at the same time, I told them I needed to talk to 'the big one who just ran in the house' - he's probably 6'1" 200 pds - I'M 6'5" 240..). Punk comes out all downcast, I'm ALL in his face 'What the hell are you saying to me kid? threatening me with my wife in the car? You think you're cool walking the center of the street blocking traffic?' Not surprisingly, he got very apologetic, his parents didn't even defend him (he's a punk, and they know it too..). Never a problem with him again, and he always looked away from our place when he walked down the street from then on.

I don't take crap from juvies, my high school days are LONG over..

Section, that's absolutely hilarious. The whole "MTV thug life" thing only works in Harlem and shit....not in random suburban neighborhoods where everybody drives BMW's and a "thug's" greatest weapon is a slingshot....
