BMW Ttemperature

hi everyone am new to this forum
i have bought a 51 plate convertible bmw 330 ci sport
it has 65k on the clock with fsh.

Ok now to the question! when i start my bmw it warms up pretty quickly is that usual???

Welcome and congrats.

Warm up as in the engine warming up or overheating?

If it's engine warming, thats not required. BMW actually recommends that you do not let the car idle to warm up, but rather drive lightly until it reaches operating temperatures.

Ok what is a "51 plate" and what is a "fsh"? Yes BMW's warm up to operating temps (usually dead center in the temp guage) pretty quickly. And as Tom said do not idle it warm, drive it!
