yeah the new one has nothing on the original. what a beautiful piece of machinery that was! I really dont like how they tried to mix the flame surfacing wiht the classic look, they just dont go together. Those sketches are damn nice though. Awesome renderings those

How the hell did you you tow that thing when it breaks down??? There's no eye hooks to strip out!!!

I've seen uglier cars, but I can't remember where or when. If you took the BMW badges off if it, and replaced it with KIA, would it still be cool? What happened to the rear window?... what's with the red stripe?... I'd love to drive it at high speed at night just to test out those headlights... of course I can't get into it without scratching the side of it with my jeans. I wouldn't want anyone to drive behind me, especially when I have to put my arm out the tiny window to signal that I am braking or turning... no tail lights, and tiny side view mirrors. You might as well be driving a bicycle. Looks like a waste of sheet metal... the thing probably doesn't even run... that's why the rims hide everything... there's no brakes in there!
Seriously though, nice drawings, and the old racer is sweet. I would be cool to see what they could come up with if they made a new version of the 2002tii or something like that, and put it into production and priced it well.

Relax... The car is only a Concept... a flight of fancy... a Vision [:)]

Any Marque can stick a sexy body on a car but what is the point if it is unreliable or not enjoyable to drive (look at Alfa Romeo [hihi] ) but BMW once again prove they have the strength of conviction to be a vanguard in automotive design.

The fact that they have incorporate the elements of their Z4 on this design study of what was in its day a very advanced shape shows BMW are committed to their designers and are confident in their engineering ability and do not need to rely of the cheap eye candy approach to automotive design.

Yes I am biased in my opinion, but aren't we all.
