BMW has been planning to release a mega-city car in 2015. “It’ll be a car with a completely new look, with two engines available. One will be a very efficient combustion engine and the other will be a purely electric model,” CEO Norbert Reithofer told the German weekly newspaper Die Zeit.
It's not confirmed whether this 'green' model will carry a BMW badge or maybe even the previous Isetta marque will revived for the model.
The 2015 electric car will comply with Californian regulations by 2012 and will either be powered by a fuel cell or battery with a range of at least 200 miles.
