ugly maybe, but fast and enduring. over there are plenty reports on TV about those types of cars. quite interesting.
actually,. BMW operates a hydrogen powered 7series for quite some time now. so do other major OEMs. I think that H2 cars will follow the hybrid wave in 10-12 years maybe. or longer. handling the fuel is really problematic and storing it in the car takes away lots of space in the trunk. the tanks they store the the hydrogen in are fairly safe. i saw footage were they crashed cars to check whether the tanks hold or not. they did in all tests. even a fire burning around the tank and the tank leaking did not create an explosion. but the technique is still tooo big and space consuming.
but, i think that this stuff has a really good chance to be our future
