I know lately a lot of people are complaining about their BMW dealership, but I know first hand that not all dealerships treat their customers the same. I'm traveling this week and I get about two hours outside Houston and hit a truck fender laying in the road on the interstate (the SUV in front of me swerves and let's me hit it, when I don't have any room to move to the right), doing about 74, I pull over after I hit it and see all the plastic pieces hanging from my front end........thinking jeebus........I put the big plastic parts in my car and call the Service Manager at my dealership, the receptionist says he is on the phone and asks for my name,,,,,I give it and he immediately answers on the first ring........he gives me the names of the Service Manager and Service Advisor at the next dealership coming up in Beaumont, I call them, they say come on in, let us check it out to be on the safe side......they check out the car immediately, put it up on the rack and check for anything torn that would affect the safety of the car.......all things check out and tell me all the plastic things that are missing from the front of the car can be replaced, that I'm lucky nothing more happened........this folks is BMW dealerships at its best..my dealership Advantage BMW of Houston, Mike Smith BMW of Beaumont..........my Service Manager immediately says after I tell him the problem, "Love, are you okay, that's all that matters."

Today, I am special..........[rofl] [rofl] [rofl]

Tomorrow, I'l be crying over my damaged car, but I'm just glad I made it to Louisiana in one piece...........

Hon, as I recall you had nice fellow pull a diet coke from your undercairage, and then about 23 pound of dirt. Before that didn't you have a dealer had some trouble diagnosing a problem. I'm glad you found a good dealer that takes care of you. I wish I had one. My dealer, Weber BMW in Fresno, sucks A$$. But that's only because they won't reset my airbag light for free. My SA is a woman, I think she hates me, but I don't realy care. She's probably smarter than me, so as long as my car gets good lovin from her, I could care less.

my BMW dealership is the best, Irvine BMW, the largest BMW dealership in North America...they are so awesome...huge service department (90+ technicians) and they are awesome...my car makes some noise out of no where...i call them...and they say bring it in...and let me get one thing straight the BMW centers in our area would never do this becuase...BMW's in my area are so popular and you need to make an appointment so this is really great of this dealership to be caring for the people who's cars are making some noises...BMW center are awesome

Oh...and BMW does not call their centers dealerships, they are BMW Centers because its not just a place to buy your car, its a entire Center where you can meet other enthusiasts and people who love BMW along with all the perks BMW gives you.

Yes they are nice...but are they good? I mean, able to diagnose a problem and fix it? That is the true test! I could care less about all the touchy, feely, smiley faces....only intelligent, capable people really matter and get results!

Maybe I should drive to Irvine?

MyHarley- Glad to hear that you are okay...you must have some good driving skills!

Lisha, I'm glad that the damage was minimal and your weren't in any danger. But wow, it seems like you can't make it more than a few months without an "incident"!
