BMW USA is hosting pictures of private owners 3 series from the 70s until now. There is a link on the page to submit your own photos! I submitted a picture of my 330, don't know how long it takes to get screened and posted.
This is a great "nod of appreciation" to BMW owners by BMW USA. I can't even begin to imagine GM, Ford or Chrysler doing something like this on their corporate web sites.
