What a Wanker you are [:)]

That was the first thing I read this morning...normally I do CNN (but am trying to wean myself off due to their ultra conservative, right-wing connections [mad]

So.......The first thing I read was GM buying BMW. I was like: "F--k...should just stick with the assh---s at CNN.

Good one. Happy April Fools Day to you too!!!

It's a shame, I had always thought CNN was a bunch of Liberal Wacko's - at any rate I think BMW could afford GM not vice versa, grasped my attention though, I think someone did that last year.

I didn't fall for it [:D]... I knew that BMW has a strong and proud German heritage and the Bavarians at Munich would never sell it. Bavarian Motor Works was meant to stand alone as the pride of re-emerging West Germany. BMW is the second most global company behind Toyota, I don't even think GM can afford or let alone effectively manage such a global, foreign company. Aside from that, I was suspicious of the April 1st posting day [;)]

haha CNN is farrrrr from conservative. i am so skeptical that any news is true any more. any where you go its ultra liberal or ultra conservative, what happened to ultra correct, and ultra factual

the media in general is mostly a bunch of bullshit, and we are bullshit people for believing it. like that terri schreivo (sp) case, 11 times it was put through the state court or state supreme court and 11 times it was shot down, what the **** does it take these days for people to take no for a no.

You guys need to read Michael Crichton's latest novel "State of Fear". While it is fiction, it is all about media reporting, manipulation of scientific data to suit a particular viewpoint, PR campaigns, etc. and how the nation is so regularly and easily manipulated and deceived. The line between fiction and reality blurs pretty quickly. It's a typical Crichton novel - lacking character depth - but an entertaining, thought provoking and fast read.
