Porsche is higher than GM? That is quite funny, as the people who buy porsches are typically enthusiasts who don't mind fixing their cars -- or they are rich and can afford it.

GM, with the exception of the corvette, is the other way around... it's people who want a car that is not foreign but they can afford something higher than a ford or dodge for the same if not lower quality.

BMW as 5th is good I think.

I find GM surprising. I guess they must run fine they just fall apart in a crash being that they seem to have a strong hold on the worst performing vehicles in a crash.
Yup. EVERY GM we've owned was a great car for the first 2 or 3 years (With the exception of the 95 blazer). Our van lasted fine for 3 years, then about 3 months after the warranty was up, we had a lower intake gasket problem (Design defect). Another 8 months, and the HEAD GASKET went!! 60,000 miles, and a bad head gasket. That's such bullshit becuase my car which is driven much harder, has a head gasket with 174,000+ miles on the clock [poke]

You really do get what you pay for.

Driving hard almost has nothing to do with HG failure. HG failure is due to poor engine design, poor gasket materials, and overheating.

Porsche makes great cars that last long and run extremely well. If one of their cars gives you a problem, they don't f*ck around with you, they just fix it ASAP and the problem will never occur again.
