BMW 318i Vs Audi A4 2.0

Is there anyone who can advise me which of the above is a better car? Am really quite lost...

They are both about the same size and hp ratings, quality issues are about the same, You are going to need to test drive both and decide which is the better car for YOU. Both are good cars.

Thanks for your advice - I have infact test drive both cars, and I must say that the Audi is more sturdy... but it is still a tough decision as the Audi's resale value here in Singapore is realtviely low compared with the Beemers...

My cousin lives in Singapore, and she just bought a 318i and paid an extrordinary amount of money for it. something like 95k dollars. (don't quote me on that)

I'm not surprised about what your Cousin may have paid in Singapore for a 318. Here in Tokyo I paid about the same for a 330i with the sport package as most people pay in America for an M3 . TAxes, taxes, taxes and what they do with the money they collect ?? [???1] . I guess help promote democracy in other places cuz here isn't happening

Here in Singapore, the car is really expensive. They are few types of taxes and for for brand new 318i - it is going at 128k; while the Audi A4 is slightly lower at 121k.

That is the reason why it is such a headache to choose between the 2 of them! Personally, I would prefer the BMW318i - but there is no more stock of this car as they are going to bring in the new 3 series, starting with the 330, which I believe will be in the range of 180k or even more -- can you believe it?

From some internet or car mag - I was informed that the price is comparable with the out-going 318i...
