What the world looks like at 110 mph through tool fans windshield. Yes I know there is no reason for me to be driving that fast on this particular road, but there is a nice s curve on the other side of the hill and it is a blast to hit at 100+ mph. Just thought I would share. I will make a few on the Autobahn shortly. I did have a 40 sec MPEG driving through Frankfurt at 140+ but I cannot upload it.

Look out a deer! Just kidding, 110 and taking a snapshot, be careful.
I had the exact thought, but you beat me by a couple of hours. Here in Washington State you have to worry about deer everywhere and on every road. Even in the residential neighborhoods. They are everywhere....

You know it. I was going east (north really) on the 18 in the early morning hours, mild fog but plenty of visibility, tooling along at the limit plus some when I got an erie feeling that there were deer close by. I am in the two lane portion lined with pine trees and I look over at about a 45 degree angle (too late to do anything but that is where I felt the eyes staring at me) and I see about 3-6 deer standing just in the tree line thinking to themselves should we jump on the hood of that little car or what? I slowed down....for a while.

Yea, Hwy 18 is known for those types of accidents. One of the reason the "lights always on" test has been going on for years. It was one of the most deadly Hwy's in America at one point...

Good thing about Germany, There are not to many deer to speak of, and the deer that are here are Red Deer that are about the size of a small Coyote. We have to worry more about some of the HUGE Jack Rabbits and Wild Pigs.................AAAAAAAND naturally other people have to worry about tool fan comin' around the bend at 100+mph. I know it isn't a joke but, for as many issues that I have had with my car............she still gets me hot when we have roads like the one pictured above to drive on. It is almost as if I cannot ....NOT drive "sporty" on these roads. I guess I could always just weld a plow to the front end, that might help.

When you get that plow welded on post pics of that. I know what you mean, you see those twisties, long narrow road surrounded by trees and you think....Zooooom. Believe me I have listened to the roadster hum through many a spot in the road then thought, thank god there were no deer or people like me around.

I did, one was out of the windshield and the other out of the sunroof..... I drive that road damn near everyday in the spring and summer. It is the road to one of the Golf courses that I frequent.

Hahhaha, we'll call it the "tool fan doing 130mph video (and not 150mph because of his snow tires) video"
