Oh man, this is why AutoWeek is so dumb. Top 10 worst cars are all cars people can't afford and not many people buy the Dodge RAM SRT-10. Not to mention the Murcielago and Gallardo are not available in automatic transmissions (only E-Gears, which is a manual F1 tranny).

046series, the fuel economy ratings are based on EPA estimates. The Honda Insight does deliver amazing gas mileage because it is so light and small.

Certainly a good find, though.

Funny thing about the dodge ram...it was at the dealer my dad bought his truck from, and the tag said 8mpg city and 12 hwy

I wonder why the viper isn't on there?

That list has to be flawed... where's our favorites, the H2 and the Excursion???

Not to mention those EPA estimates are always (BMW at least) 30% lower than listed for city mpg in NYC and similarly congested areas...

That means the Dodge SRT 10 gets 6mpg in NYC traffic [hihi]

I think the EPA gets their city mpg from smalltowns throughout the US where the limit is 50mph from redlight to redlight and traffic is mild. Considering the fact that if anyone drove a 330i in NYC traffic decently (no feather footing) you're not going to get the 19mpg you're gonna average roughly 12-13 in stop-n-go traffic. BTW featherfooting gets you about 15 maybe 16mpg not necessarily worth it...

Yeah well they say they get 8 MPG but what they say and what it is are two different things.

Anybody see the TopGear episode when Clarkson got is Ford GT, the car gets 7 MPG, which means he can go 75 miles off the 10 gallon tank, well he lives 77 miles from the Studio. ha ha ha. and he complained about the Z4 tank.

Funny, dodge ram srt 10 8.3 liter V10 500hp and 525 lb-ft torque.

"0-60 in just over 5 seconds" (according to dodge's website) Sure its fast, but is it 8.3 liter 9mpg when driving like a granny fast?? NO. I don't care if it's a truck. for $52k for an uncomfortable extended cab version, I could SURE as hell justify an M3 over that!!!!!

the thing is, those cars probably avg. 1000miles per year. where as every damned truck (i hate trucks with a passion, i think the redneck status symbol is the biggest and loudest waste of anything (time, money, pollution etc...)) hits 150,000 miles within 3 or 4 years. so damn dumb.

5.4 Liter V8 in the ML
and 3.9 Liter V8 in the Disco

Awesome gas guzzlers..
Yea but that's to be expected in SUV's.

What do those engines actually get in NYC? 9-10mpg? Just curious since I'm considering a new excursion or H2 and would like to know what to expect... [rofl]
