I spent almost 9 hours (though not 9 hours straight) detailing my car on monday... it came out VERY nice. But I have to give a HUGE reccomendation to Poorboys Natty Paste Wax Blue. People who have seen Cosmos black metallic paint know how 'thin' and "dirty" the paint can look. Two coats of this highly-reccomended wax made the paint look SO incredibly deep. The metal flake in the paint no longer looks like dirt from 10 feet away, it actually adds to the color of the car. It was extremely easy to put on and even easier to take off! It rained very hard lastnight onto my dust-covered car (dusty from my work, we print phone books and the paper is dusty). Typically it would be all spotty the day after... this morning I walked out and it's spotless other than some fresh pollen.

I'll get pics next time I wax, but I'm obviously very impressed. Best $15 I've EVER spent on detailing and protecting the paint of a car.

I also picked up a bottle of the new Turtle Wax Ice - this stuff looks AMAZING since you can do the whole car with it, including trim. I was going to put a coat on after the natty's paste wax, but honestly it would have taken AWAY from the natty's shine. I ended up using the ICE to do the trim and rear splitter, since it's unpainted. Ended up looking great.
