Best dealership service EVER

I have just received the best dealership service EVER and it was from the local BMW dealership. As a few of you may know, I have been critical of Las Vegas dealerships, especially BMW, and have not leased a car locally in a long time.

The service from BMW was no less than superb in all aspects. The service advisor kept me informed continually of all issues, made arrangements to finish additional needed work as soon as the needed parts arrive. He also offered to provide me with a “fun BMW” to drive while they finish the remaining work.

The service was truly unbelievable. I was asked 3 times by different people if there was anything they could get for me while I waited for a shuttle, drink, paper, magazine and so on. This was truly shocking considering the previous service experience and reputation.

Perhaps a new change in customer service attitude? I would guess some lost business for the dealership and BMW could be the reason. What a nice change.

Great to hear. I've received similar service from East Bay BMW minus the "fun BMW".

Whats the name of the dealership in Vegas?

The dealership is Desert BMW of Las Vegas. I am sure the "fun BMW" is relative to the Impala they got for me from Enterprise. [fake] But better than no car like last time.

PS...
There is a new MB dealership 1/2 mile from BMW that just opened as a "dealership of the future". Not sure what that is but I guess I may go and see what a "dealership of the future" is.

Also, a new Audi dealership is opening in the same area.

We need more competition here and I think this will help with service at all dealerships in town.

what could a dealership of the future be?
Not sure but I think I will go in one day and check it out. It looks HUGE from the outside, like they could have about 50+ cars on the showroom floor.

I am also thinking a lot of electronics, probably plasma screen monitors everywhere and a lot of virtual interaction.

Didn't business' s use the future gimmick like way back in the 1950's ? They wanted to get people thinking they were ahead of the times and more advanced and technical and **it.

I think the fact that they will probably house their entire lot indoors? Its almost what it sounds like and that's actually quite a cool idea!! Even if it was semi-indoors (ie had a roof over most of the lot) that would be pretty cool.

"Glad to hear about BMW of LV..."

[wave] Bryan...

I've always been happy with D BMW of H. I think the sales associate you initially

get 'hooked-up' with is the key with your relationship at the dealership.

Anyway, Bryan, I get off this sandbar April 12th and will be home on the 13th.

I'm still trying to get used to this new format...
