My little boy is sick again......well I think he acts up just because......battery light on every morning and the passenger window decides to not roll up right......anyways......they gave me a 2006 Infinity G35 Black.......it's all right, is comfortable, lots of room, but it is jerky to drive.......BUT.......the guy at the car loaner desk said we don't have any regular cars, so I'm giving you an upgrade.....I said unless it's a BMW its a downgrade......he rolled his eyes........so laughing......no humor in folks these days.....

2006 heh, they still havent fixed their jerky ride issues...
You really are a moron!!!!

My car is in for an oil service...
The loaner is a nice burgundy '06 X3 with just over 500 miles on it. This one has way more options than the last X3 I had. We'll see if it drives any better than the last one.
I just don't understand why anyone would buy this thing. The original sticker was tucked behind the driver's seat. This thing went for just under $40k. It has power heated seats, cruise control, and an in-dash CD. Otherwise it's pretty plain Jane. It rides ok on smooth roads, but is rough and noisy over any pavement imperfections. Lots of wind noise. I was getting about 18.5MPG at 80MPH, so it gets worse mileage than my 740iL. It's way underpowered and shifts rough on hills. Before I bought one of these, I'd get a CPO'd X5 and be much better off.
Sounds like bmw hasn't fixed the jerkyness issue yet. heh heh heh [rolleyes]

My car rides hard as hell and I like it that way, but I tell potential buyers that I know, to make sure they can live with the ride quality during their test drive.

MyHarley, did they give you a coupe or a sedan? I hope your baby gets well soon.

It is a sedan..........part of the problem is the gear shift rest.........yes that is what it is for, to rest my right hand while not in use with the cell phone, diet coke or whatever......I'm resting my hand and it flips over to the right without much of a nudge and I'm either in sport or manual....havent paid attention to which....so I flip it back to the right and it goes too far......plus it won't let me have my key back unless I take my foot off the break after putting in park and turning off the car......are you laughing now...it also needs tinted windows since I feel I am so out there in the light.......my car rides hard with 18 inch wheels, this is a smooth ride, not rough at all like mine, but the gas pedal is jerky at slow speeds, but its smooth on the freeways unless I need to give it more gas quickly.......my girlfriend has a 2004 Infinity G35 coupe and this doesnt ride like hers........her's is very sporty like mine......

but you know when its free..........its all good..........I just want mine back tho.....he's a pain, but he's mine........

I'm sorry post whore... did I offend you? Maybe if you got your pimply face off the internet once in a while and got laid a couple of times you would have better things to do besides post garbage replies like the above.

Sounds just like the S60, which also has a jerky throttle that creates a jerky ride. If Infiniti fixed the throttle issues, I think they'd have something on BMW other than just value and performance...

What extreme bias? I think you're a little disoriented and confused. I think the 535i looks like an old rusty owl, while the G35 sedan is modern, sporty, and appealing. How about you learn the difference between rough ride (x3, sports cars, etc..) and Jerky ride (G35,S60,etc..) After that then learn by my example towards you and stop replying to my posts. [thumbd]

And the e46 is a plastic generic car built by computers. Your point? I don't think I brought my 535i up, but now you are backtracking.
