I went to a custom stereo place yesterday wanting to add something to improve the bass component of the stock Harmon Karmon. We've had a lot of discussions on this board about the Harmon Karmon system, pros and cons of the sound quality. After purchasing Prince's new CD, something just has to be done. The stereo guy quoted me $1060.00 to upgrade, I'm thinking I can buy a whole new system for that. Since its a lease I want something that does not drill anywhere and I can transfer it to another car when my lease is up. A guy at work suggested just getting a Bazooka kit?? Any other suggestions........?? I only want to improve the system for around $500.00 and I dont want to jiggle going down the road with all the bass........the sample he had in a car hurt my body listening to it....... [???1]

I have a infinity Basslink installed in my 328 convert, provides a good amount of bass even in the convert's trunk. You can pick one up new for around $265. Would be easy for you to remove after your lease is up.
