Yep, it finally happened - M3 motorwerks opened another company to cater to the needs of our fellow BMW enthusiasts & audiophiles. There was a void in this industry; no one, until now, had developed audio solutions specifically for BMW's. But we have.
What's it called?
Bavarian Soundwerks

A Little Bit About BSW
BSW's primary product offerings are MB Quart, Pioneer, Monster Cable, and our own line of subwoofer enclosures. BSW comes to market with 10+ years of experience the BMW car audio industry, and we back our products with vast technical knowledge and support. We're there every step of the way for you.
On to the Good Stuff...
What we're most excited about (besides our project cars packed with MB Quart speakers/amps & Pioneer Navi units) is our new to market, BMW specific, patent-pending, custom subwoofer enclosures and the associated subwoofer packages. Here are a couple photos and brief descriptions as well as links:
Bavarian Soundwerks D210.E36 Subwoofer Enclosure
(Shown with MB Quart 10" Reference Subs & RAA1000 Amplifier)
http://www.bavariansoundwerks.com/products/description.php/II=344/PA=0
Yeah, that's not an illusion. This mounts to the rear deck of the car with no modifications in about 2 minutes, tops. No cutting, no drilling. Just direct bolt-in, and it takes about 1 minute to take the thing out, too. I'm not exaggerating here. Our resident stereo guru (Jason W. Seaver - you'll be talking to him, so I figured I'd tell ya his name) came up with the design. I almost lost my cookies I was so damn excited.
Made of 1/2" MDF (CNC-cut for perfect build) with a 3/4" front baffle and sealed with fiberglass resin, this box is a freakin' fortress for sound waves. The seal and precision, not to mention the sound, is really fantastic. (We recommend matching this with MB Quart subs, but any 10" sub of the right dimensions will work.)
Sounds phenomenal (can SLAM if you want it to), but it's not unbalanced. What's really cool about this enclosure is the way it actually uses the entire car to transmit sound and feeling into the cabin. You can literally FEEL the bass. With MB Quart Reference Subs, the accuracy is mouth-watering.
Unfortunately, there are only fitments for E36 cars (except 318ti) right now, but believe you me, we have more deck mounted enclosures in development as you read this.

Bavarian Soundwerks F110.E Subwoofer Enclosure
(Shown with MB Quart RAA1000 Amplifier Top-Mounted)
http://www.bavariansoundwerks.com/products/description.php/II=345/PA=0
The F110.E is our cross-model audiophile-oriented bass solution. It's built using 3/4" MDF (resin on the inside to perfectly seal the box and eliminate distortion and standing waves), laminated top and bottom, and carpeted with embossed M stripes on the front.
It's designed to accept a single 10" Subwoofer, and is ideally configured with the MB Quart 10" Premium Subwoofer with the MB Quart RAA1000 Amplifier. This is what I've got in my '98 M3. In short, it sounds INCREDIBLE. I'm picky, picky, picky, and the response and the RANGE of the woofer/enclosure/amp combo, not to mention its volume (it can sound like 2 10's if you want it to) is unbelievable. I've just never heard anything that hits every damn note so precisely, even the superlows that normally only a 12" or 15" woofer setup could hit. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME.
The F110.E Enclosure works in almost every BMW ever made, and its compact design and sound reproduction are great features.
If you want to check it out in package form with components pre-installed, go here (again, killer deal this way. Save like $240 going this route):

Not into Bass? No matter.
Even though BSW recommends subwoofer systems to all our customers (1/3rd of all must is in the range that a subwoofer plays - how can you really hear your music without one?), we're also extremely excited about MB Quart's interior component speakers, their new head unit, and all the other stuff we carry. Basically, if you want to enhace your car audio in any way, BSW has what you need to do it.
Anyway, enough of my blabbering and sales pitching. We want to get some feedback about the site, get a feel for what you fine folks want, and get some of you experiencing the great sound.
So, ask away. If you want to e-mail with questions, I'd recommend getting in touch with our stereo mastermind, Jason W. Seaver. He'll tell you anything you need to know and if you want a package setup, that's his gig, too. Here's his info: jws@bavariansoundwerks.com | Phone: 678.388.9538
Suggestions, questions, whatever you have to say, we want to hear it!
