The local paper's automotive section had a picture & write up on the new Kia Amante in the top picture below. I had not seen this car before so I had to check it out. As they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. But jeezz, this is ridiculous!

It's got a Chrysler grill and Toyota Camry side mirrors from what I can see. I also heard the back is a complete rip off of various manufacturers too. Like Frankenstein, the end result wasn't too pretty.

Egads.. Kia on top, E320 on bottom? (Or is that a C class?) Not sure 'bout my benz's.

I used to think Volvo and Saab's were looking more 'bimmer' like in the late 90's..

If it ain't broke, don't fix it (And quick, make a million copies of it!).

Nice looking disposable car!!! Good Ad campaign to lure in "those that don't know". They are probably offering great financing. Good move on their part I guess. I can't wait to see how many I see on the road! Also performance figures, and resale estimates.
I wonder how many we'll see on the road 30 years from now? (3?)
Wrong crowd- buyers of this car/ trend could care less if it will last, or be a classic-I could go on all night!

Just looking at front grill again- I live on the coast and have seen more graceful lobster traps!!! Look at it! School fencing is better articulated!

I guess you get what you pay for!

At least Bangle's designs are original....well.....VERY original!

Isn't KIA currently the worlds cheapest auto manufacturer of new cars?

Imagine cornering in a KIA at 120 mph.... thinking its your budget jaguar/benz hybrid[8]

geesh kia just went out and combined the s type and the e class.. booooo

in defense, i remember the lexus sedans looking quite like the german counterpart..

but then again, you are paying for a cheapo ride that at least looks expensive.. i'm sure there's a market segemtn for those types.. i like the looks better than the older styles.. (but yea, it's a blatant rip off)

If you took a turn at 120 in a kia, the car would explode in half a second. It wouldn't know whether to roll over or slide 300 yards into the nearest tree, so it would get stuck in a loop trying to figure out what to do and just blow up.
