Argh! Incompetent car shippers (United Van Lines)

Look what they did to my poor Focus. Now I have to go through the hassle of finding the right bodyshop and clear bra installation place. If you're looking to transport your car, stay clear from United Van Lines. They contract their car shipping service to a bunch of incompetent idiots. Theresa and Ken Cramer [thumbd].

Noted Damages:
1) Scraped front bumper and clear bra.
2) Deep side scratches on the left front and rear doors.
3) Deep side scratches on the rear bumper.
4) Paint chip on the left rear door.
5) Paint chip in between the two left doors.
6) Pit marks on both rocker panels.

That flat out SUCKS Tom. Sorry to hear about the damages. When I saw the pictures I thought it was the M.

Has the company owned up to the damages? They better be paying for the repairs.

Tom - my parents used united van lines 16 years ago when we moved from chambersburg to lancaster. My mom was pregnant with my sister at the time (prob with only a couple of months to go), and the idiots kept asking her to bring stuff out to them. Not only that, when they got the stuff to our current house, they just sort of threw the boxesin the basement not even caring if the boxes said "basement" or "kitchen"

Yea, it's worse when its a car, but still.

Man, that sucks Tom. Those scratches on the door are REALLY bad looking. At least the bumper scratches look like they are kind of underneath in a less obvious place, but those door scratches are flat out horrible.

Thanks for the support guys and yeah I'm glad it wasn't the M3. I had that shipped with another company. Hopefully in a few days I won't make another post like this about my M3.

We spoke with the lady who was in charge of our account and they said they'll pay for it. The only down side is finding a good bodyshop.
