Anyone chrome plated factory BMW rims ?

Has anyone ever had factory BMW rims, chrome plated ?

If so, How did they turn out & any drawbacks ???

Well I know a guy that had his E36 M3 rims Chromed, there were no problems with them, but i thought that they looked really ugly, but it is all a matter of preference.

some shiney wheels on mine

All but my e21 Calloway have shine on the wheels.

You can see I really like two door grey cars and shine on my wheels.
