That is funny shit. The guy is a dumbass for doing that, but the lady in the car is an even bigger dumbass for just driving forward and backward.

The guy obviously is obviously high off of some VERY powerful drug. Definitely not marijuana, probably not cocaine.

If that was me in the car, I would have backed into the guy and ran him over, and then I would proceed to run over the camera man. And then, I would sue the guy who caused the damages, the camera man, and all the cars around me who didn't help out. Give me a break...one wacko with a hammer is surrounded by a bunch of cars and nobody has the balls to do ANYTHING????

Aparently you didn't see how he was swinging.. neither your or my fat out of shape asses could've done anything against him. Unless you had a gun or you run him over... thats pretty much it.

Yeah dude, that's what I said....I aim the car at him and run him over. I'm not one to challenge some raging lunatic with a hammer. Car > angry man w/mallet.

I would be absolutely furious about this, but you gotta admit, it is HILARIOUS when the guy is yelling and then all of a sudden he just picksup a hammer and starts bashing a car with it. I guess not so funny if it was my car.....

Btw, speak for yourself. I do keep my skinny ass in shape. [:D]

I fail to see any humor in that video. I'm not afraid to admit that I would have been scared shitless if that had happened to me. I probably would have driven up on the sidewalk to try to get away from the lunatic, but I'm sure I too would have initially been stunned/shocked and not really have known what to do until my mind finally realized what was going on. Think about it - we saw the guy's rage before it happened and were a little more prepared for his lunacy - the lady had no idea what was going on with this guy - from her perspective, he came out of nowhere. I'm sure she was stunned and no doubt terrified.

As far as no one else doing anything - would you really have gotten out of your car and approached this guy? I find it very hard to believe that you would have. Like Eric said, what would you have done except make your head the target of his next swing? As hard as he was hitting that PT Cruiser, he would have made short work of your skull with that metal tire iron or whatever he was swinging.

The thing I find the most disturbing about it is that it was filmed. Why on earth was this filmed? If for some reason I was filming and this happened, no way could I have continued to film it, or I'm sure I would at least have said something while filming. This person just continued to film it, and didn't even make a single remark. I certainly wouldn't have walked closer like the cameraman did.

I NEVER SAID I WOULD GET OUT OF THE CAR. Read my posts before you quote me. Calling 911 is doing something and if you look at the surrounding cars, people are doing nothing more than spectating. At the very least, I would have expected some of them to LEAVE THE SCENE and call 911 to ensure the safety of their own vehicles. Instead, they acted like idiots and just sat there, waiting for the light to turn green. And the lady should have done WHATEVER IT TAKES to leave the scene. Personally, I would have gotten out of there and then came back and tried to run the guy and the camera man over, but I guess it depends on the car. If I was in a SUV, I would have had NO hesitation of hopping the curb and plowing those two ******s down. But in my G, where I'm lower to the ground more in range of the guy's hammer, I'd have second thoughts. Obviously, the camera man was a friend of his and probably only supported what he was doing.

Does nobody understand that the guy (and probably the camera man) was all doped up on drugs??? He even states it in his initial "rant". And this guy has probably already been to jail and has no problem going back in, along with the fact that he'll probably get away with that stunt. Listen to his speech and you'll understand why he did it, lol.

This guy thinks he's making something of himself by being a hard-core tough guy drug dealer and pimp, but he only ends up looking like a ridiculous lunatic....pathetic.

MOG! Honestly, if that happened to me, I would have backed up as much as possible and peeled out aiming for his ass. Things like this get them kind of a-holes more confidence. Cause they know nobody will do anything. And that person filming it only supports his actions.

My intial reaction would be 6500 RPM + first gear + dropped clutch in reality.

If i had someone else in my car it would be get out as fast as possible. If I were by myself, it'd be follow the dude while the cops are on their way.

Good call.
But if you did that in a Subaru, you'd have to explain how your transmission "mysteriously" got destroyed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GO WRX !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
