annual maintenance

I've had my 2002 Z3 almost a year now, and was wondering if there is anything other than an oil & filter change that might need to be done. The car had 39000 miles on it when I bought it this past January, and I only put 2000 miles on it this past year. I have another car for winter driving, so it won't be used to much in the next few months. Also, has anyone used any of the international association of independent BMW service professionals that are advertised in the Roundel magazine? If I don't take the car to a dealer, would that void the CPO warranty? Any help would be appreciated.

If the car is maintained to BMW specs and there is no specific language in the contract forbidding use of non-BMW facilities you are ok. I used a private German car shop in Eastern Washington when I lived in Idaho and use another one here in this area. Both are well known for their service and professionalism.
