Alignment question

Just replaced the front suspension (minus shocks, springs, and strut bearing). Obviously got an alignment - car drifts hard to the right though, and the rear is out of spec which could be becuase of the saggy springs. I have a feeling the toe in the front wasn't adjusted to meet with the toe in the rear.

Sorry that I didn't resize and YES I took it to sears but I had a gift card and I wasn't going to waste it.

Any Idea's? I'm sure I won't get a ton of answers but I figured I'd get opinions from those of you who know what's up.

Does it drift regardless of accelerating or coasting? I'm assuming you've checked non-suspension issues like a low tire pressure on the right or dragging brake?

That left rear has a lot more toe in than the right, it's "pointing" to the right, I'm wondering if that is the problem, but I wouldn't expect it to be a hard drift, more like a slow drift...[scratch]

I know what you mean - and yea I checked everything else. It didn't drift before I replaced everything up front, so I'm assuming it almost HAS to be something up front.

Before, the steering wheel wasn't centered, but it would go straight. Where as now it goes straight with the steering wheel center, but you can feel the steering wheel pulling towards the right, and if you let go it will turn right a little. I figured it was the gradient of the road but it does it all the time regardless.

I'm not an expert on any of this alignment stuff, so please take whatever I say with a grain of salt.

My parent's 528 (1997) got new tie rods put on and then it was aligned and the car pulled really hard to the left. Took it back and it ended up being that the left side wasn't tightened "to spec."

I've been told that toe in/out will not cause a car to pull. Take a look at your Caster reaadings. They are out of adjustment and I bet they are not adjustable. Could be wear, but my guess is that the parts did not go back together in the same place compared to before the work was done. I would check the upper strut mounting to see if it matches the old marks.

Nothing else was taken apart when I did the suspension - and BTW It's all good now - ended up being a bad drivers front tire.
