After Market HU compatibale with BMW CD Changer

Has anyone found and after market head unit that is compatible with a factory 6 cd changer. I know thay are bothe made by Alpine and years ago they has to stay together. i was hoping that someone was smart enough to creat an adapter or actual head unit that would allow me to keep the changer and not have to replace it.

call crutchfield and ask if they have an adapter that works with the stock cd changer and an aftermarket HU. i have in the past used an aftermarket alpine Mbus cd changer witht the stock head unit. all it needed was the blitz adapter. hope that helps.
