This month's Road & Track did a head to head on the 6 and the Mercedes CLK500. The winner was the 6. Here's a link to R&T photos, but you have to buy the mag to read the article.

i dunno i think they did an ok job on keeping the "idea" on the exterior looks corresponding with the current BMW generation looks as a pure sports model... otherwise it seems they kept the rest of the 6 series a great performance car

I think it's sweet as hell. Awesome car that fit me like a glove when I sat in it at the Memphis Autoshow. Awfully, awfully pricey, though.

I would easily take a CLK500 over the new 6-series. Nothing debatable about its styling, super nice interior, great luxury and performance, just a great overall Coupe for the price.
