AutoSpies has a bootleg PDF of the 2007 X5 Product Ordering Guide. Basically it's the full color brochure.

A few interesting things I saw:
- The pictures of the shift selector show some buttons/controls on it, but the brochure does not talk about it.

- It says that starting in Spring 2007, they will offer a remote controlled power operated lift for the rear door.

as usual i'm not too hot on the new bmw styling updates, but i just maybe raving about it in a year or so..

350hps is always good, panoramic roof is sweet, HUD is nice.

auto liftgate should've been present in the 04 re-freshing..

so far i'm glad my parents opted to purchase their leased 04 x5. not too many non 4.8 imolas around ya know? ^_^

Wow, that thing is awesome!! As of today, that is my dream SUV (until the redesigned Range Rover comes out -- maybe) and second favorite BMW after the E92. I think this is the best interior (and dash) of any of the new Bagnle BMWs. The shifter looks a little weird, but I'm glad it's still on the floor at least. I love the short overhangs and 20s. Was skeptical about the short rear when I saw the spy photos, but now I love it. And now the 350hp 4.8 is the standard V8? Awesome, I saw on the pricing list that base is 54K (not much more than the 53 now), but the options price look ridiculous. A well-optioned 4.8 can now run up to 70K?!?! Still, I think this might be worth saving for. So is BMW still going to make an "is" X5? Can't wait to see what that would like....

Obvioulsy I love the current X5, but I actually think the new X5 looks even hotter (and I usually can't say that about new BMW models). I think it looks great from every angle, and the interior finishes look incredible. I do think that the current dash layout is sportier, and more "BMW", but as we all know...BMW has gone to a new design theme! Overall, I think the new X5 is HOT!!

I like it, both interior and exterior -- but a BMW with no manual transmission available?? That does surprise me.
The 7 series doesn't offer a manual, either. And besides the manual on the previous gen. X5 was only offered with the 3.0, and nobody in the States was probably buying them that way. Honestly, as much as I love manuals, I wouldn't like it in a SUV, especially one as big as the X5.

yeah i think an SUV is the only automobile i'd want that wasn't manual, maybe a nice denali pickup in an auto, but i wouldn't ever be fussy about not having a big suv as an auto, though the x3 i'd get as a manual.
