I love the headlights, but I hate the gaping fish mouth grille. I always thought Audis were sexy cars and that one might be in my garage in the future. However, I can't stand their new corporate grille treatment, so there will definitely be no Audi in my future until they get rid of that hideous grille. IMO, it ruins the whole front end.

Now that my brothers is a fine ass Audi....I never liked the the old one....looks like a flattened VW beetle and the colors were terrible for example:

i always thought gary and ace would drive the TTs around in their off time.. ah friend of friends. (no offense to TT drivers, just my feeling on the way the car looks.)

i'm not a big fan of hte nose. by itself its a nice nose, but when combined w/ the rest of the car, it doens't fit that well. also, what's the deal w/ the rounded edges w/ straight lines? it can't both be agressive and soft at the same time, can it?

So if you live in a state that doens't require the front license plate...does that deletie the grey plastic bar across the front uni-grill? American plates are taller too...I'd be curious to see how that looks.

That's a good point. That gray strip, while small, is very important to the design. Would any photoshoppers mind taking that out so I could see what it looks like.

Just think compact 300c. Even the side lines look like a 300.

The gray strip stays there. For the US cars, they just put the license plate there and the bottom part of the license plate covers a bit of the lower part of the front grille. I HATE it that German companies don't think of the US and our weird license plates. But then again, if I could have it my way, the US would be using the Euro plate!

HOT, but the rear is too "nissan".
I agree. Rear looks like a G35 coupe (which is not a bad thing, but the TT is not an Infiniti).

Grill does look like a mini 300C, and the new headlights look like a combined effort of the new 3 Series and the New X5.

Overall, kind of cool....but the big mouth still weirds me out, especially on a small car.

B-, maybe B

I have actually been scared to see what the real redesign of the Audi TT will look like because I think it is such an amazingly great-looking car. Now I know that the new Audi TT is something I can look forward to.
