Ok guys here it is....I just started a new job in January and one of the guys I work with has an Audi Kombi(station wagon). It is badge on the back as an RS4 and on the grill in front...oh yeah it also has this ricey sticker that says RS4 on the back bumper. I have been agonizing over this for the last couple of weeks and have done some research.
The engine in his car looks like this:

The engine in a European Spec RS4 looks like this:

A European spec RS4 has 380bhp and has the dual exhaust tips both on the left side as you face the car:

It was made only for one year(2000-2001) in Europe.

My "co-workers" car looks like this:

Yep just like a Audi A4 3.0 and not a RS4.
My question is, "Did they release the RS4 in America at all?"
If the answer is "yes", I need some suggestions on what I should do to this blatant "poser"!!!!

Your co-worker has an S4 not an RS4, but the picture of the engine looks more like a regular 3.0l engine. So it looks like he doesn't even have a S6.[8] There is no difference between EU and US RS4. I'm not shure if the RS4 was sold in US.

No, I believe the S6 is the equivalent of an M5, not a 5 series touring wagon.

The S4 Avant is audi's sport station wagon.

America never got the RS4. That I'm sure of. Course, this means there's a whole cottage industry of tuners who help modify S4 cars into RS4 equivalents or "better." I still get a European car tuner mag and used to read up on it more when I was trying to figure out which car to buy.

US rarely ever gets the good stuff from foreign manufacturers. Canada gets BMW Individual officially. Don't see why even something that basic isn't offered in the States.

Adrean8j: you know, if your coworker has a 3.0L V-6, that means he just has a regular A4. It's not a performance version of anything. I'm talking about the very first photo you posted.
