2002 featured in new ad

While watching the olympic opening ceremonies, I saw one of the best BMW ads ever,IMO. A rural farmer-type man is selling a BMW 2002 that is in a barn, and the man looking at it is very eager and writes out a check immediately, to the farmers surprise. The selling point of the commercial is that BMWs have a great resale value. I just think it is great to see that they feature such a great old car in their commercials, which as of late seem to be pretty sparse (not including the iPod ones). Has anybody else seen this ad?

That is pretty cool. I haven't seen the commerical yet, but it's cool.

just saw it, pretty neato... that one and the one where the guy in a 5 series picks up a stranded car tower are refreshing from the usual mumbo jumbo of car commercials

Yeah, I am pretty sick of all car commercials, especially the catch phrases ("you win" ?!!) I was happy to see BMW paying homage to one of their legendary cars. BTW epj3, I like the sig picture!

Seeing it for the second time, I noticed the "Resale may not pay in full for new vehicle" disclaimer Awesome find on the commercials, I hadn't seen the other two before.

HAHAHAHAHA, great commercial. I especially liked how the farmer went "Holy ...." and the engine roar replaced the last word.

Oh yeah, the chicken is really not real, you can notice it right away, but then again, how can they put a real chicken on a 2002.
