That would definitely be interesting if it was a folding hardtop, but I would imagine that the car would be substantially heavier as a result.

They would probably get critisized for having a hardtop in the $30,000 3 series, but not in the $70,000 6-series. I kind of doubt this will be a hardtop. Maybe in the next generation of BMW convertibles....

And those headlights are really ugly/long, the rest of the car looks great though.

Neat, 1st pic I've seen of a E90 vert. Hardtop would be a grand move - they may be looking at that option, the E90 surprisingly is supposed to weigh less than the E46, so tossing a hardtop on the vert may not be so far fetched?
